Dr. Finau is an Educational Anthropologist focusing her work and research on an interdisciplinary approach to identity studies and the power of representation in the advent of globalization, cultural transmissions, parallels, and differences that exist in the educative processes across cultural, linguistic, and geographic contexts. She instructs and introduces various perspectives from Sociocultural Anthropology on the diversity, indigenous epistemologies, history and contemporary issues of Oceania and Pacific Island studies.
