Vision and Mission

The Department of Anthropology investigates the human experience and applies this understanding to address human problems. We apply anthropological approaches in a Christ-centered environment to conduct research and share our findings with academic communities and the broader public. We mentor students in critical thinking and analysis through intensive experiential learning in cultural and linguistic anthropology, archaeology, and museum studies. We help students grow personally, spiritually, and professionally as they develop into life-long learners and disciples of Christ who serve others.
